A Fine Balance

Set in India during the State of Emergency in the mid 70s this story brings together four people through unforeseen circumstances. If I had to pick one book to be my favourite, it's this one.

Original language: English Was the book good? Yes. It singlehandedly rekindles my passion for reading. Is it good for this challenge? Yes, it's perfect. You learn a lot about India, but it never feels dull or forced, it all comes naturally.
