What a strange and sad but funny book that was. Your heart aches for all the characters - poor Misha! Poor Viktor! Poor Sonya! Caught up in a twisted web through no fault of his own, Viktor becomes dragged further and further into someone else's drama until no-one is quite sure what is going on, least of all Viktor. The ending is quite unresolved; I believe there's a sequel and I will definitely be looking for it.
