Quick read - young adult paranormal horror story that uses a commonly adapted Japanese Folklore: Okiku and the Nine Plates. The book grapples with themes of vengeance, redemption, and the struggle between good and evil. It is written from the viewpoint of Okiku - the vengeful ghost - who is an antihero.
