I loved the plot and socio-philosophical aspects of this book and if I had a better understanding of math and physics I would have given this book a higher rating. It is due to my own limited understanding of these topics that I have to give it a lower rating. Large chunks of the novel soared way above my head. I don’t think I lost too much of the plot by not understanding the (to me) complex reasoning/explanations of certain dilemmas, but I’m sure it would have been more enjoyable if I could follow these long passages. Overall, the plot was great but the execution too complex for me. I would definitely recommend this book to those with at least a basic understanding of physics.
