I suspected pretty much everyone except the actual "bad guy."
The twists keep you from being able to put it down. I listened to the audio for most of this and the audio is very well performed.

The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides is a suspenseful mystery thriller that I've been meaning to read for quite awhile now. I can honestly say that I don't quite get the hype surrounding this novel especially still 6 years on, but I still had a good time. I did start to lose me a little bit as it went on and I don't think it needed to be quite as long as it is, but it starts off strongly. I think I'll have to try other books from the author in the future.

This is a good summer read. The story is very “edge of your seat” even though parts of it become extremely predictable as the book progresses. Nonetheless I would recommend it as an excellent psychological thriller.
